Summary
The South Waikato District Council has received a request from J & T Quigley Ltd under Clause 21 of the First Schedule to the Resource Management Act 1991 (the Act) for a Private Plan Change PPC5 (RM220139) to the South Waikato District Plan.
The change requested would alter the zoning of 31.68 ha of land at 1861 Ongaroto Rd (SH30) Whakamaru from General rural zone to Rural lifestyle zone. Seven amendments are requested, bespoke to this land, to the District Plan’s subdivision rules, the Rural lifestyle zone rules, and the plan’s Assessment Criteria for Discretionary Activities.
