Learn to Swim
"Learn to swim is all about having fun while you learn. It builds water confidence, giving children a great feeling of being safe in the water."
Classes are 20 minutes long and run over five weeks
Learn to Swim classes are for ages four and older and are focus on building confidence in the water. Classes run during the school term on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for five weeks, covering 10 lessons. Our instructors have a real passion for teaching your children to swim and have a wealth of ideas for encouraging children to be safe around water.
Classes are 30 minutes long and run over five weeks
If your child is already confident in the water, Swim Academy is the perfect programme for them. Swim Academy classes focus on stroke correction and building on your child's confidence and skills in the pool. Swim Academy classes run during the school term on Monday and Wednesday evenings for five weeks, covering 10 lessons.
Your child's first lesson is an assessment of their water confidence and capability. It's also a chance for instructors and swimmers to familiarize themselves with each other. To assist your child in our Swim Academy Programme we recommend that they come to practice at least one other time per week.
Adult Learn to Swim
If you've ever wanted to learn to swim properly then look no further than your local Indoor Swimming Pool, right here in Tokoroa. Adult Learn to Swim classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 pm.
No pressure, no embarrassment. Classes will start with a group assessment to gauge where you're at, to find out whether you need confidence, practice or stroke correction. Just turn up if you're keen.
Water Woggles Class
Water woggles for our seniors, great for all fitness levels and ages. This is for people who want to increase their fitness & flexibility and like to stay in shape. Enjoy the company of others with good music and a good laugh or two during the class. Hot spa pools to relax in after your workout.
Monday and Friday at 9 am
AquaFit with Kelly
Every Monday from 6.30 pm.
Aqua exercises have minimal impact on joints, so this form of exercise is ideal for all ages and swimming abilities. Encouraging extra flexibility, improving cardio fitness, body tone, range of movement and developing strength.
All classes are 45 minutes in duration. No classes are held on public holidays.
