When will Learn to Swim and other swim programmes be back up and running?
Learn to Swim assessment bookings will open from Monday 5 October 2026 and will run from 12-14 October.
The Learn to Swim 7-week programme will be open for bookings from 16 October and will run from 2 November until 9 December.
Can you have food by the pool?
No, you cannot eat beside the pool. You can eat in the community room which can be booked for birthdays and events, or outside near the play area.
How can I book a swim programme?
In the coming weeks we are launching an online booking system to make booking swim programmes even easier. You can still visit one of our facilities to book with staff or make a phone booking in the meantime.
What is the supervision policy?
SUPERVISION POLICY
Lifeguards are on duty, but parents and caregivers remain responsible for supervising children.
Caregivers must be 16 years or older.
Children under 8 years old
- Must be always actively supervised by a parent or caregiver.
- "Actively supervised" means being close to the child, watching them and be able to give immediate assistance if needed.
Children under 5 years old
- Must be accompanied in the water by a parent or caregiver.
- Always be within arm’s reach anywhere in our facilities.
What is the swimwear policy?
For everyone’s safety, please wear suitable swimwear while using the pools. T-shirts, singlets and long pants (street clothes) aren’t permitted over your togs.
SWIM NAPPIES
Children who aren’t toilet trained must wear a Little Swimmer swim nappy in the pool. These are available to purchase at reception.
