All you need to know about Christmas in South Waikato

The Christmas parade, market and tree lighting in Tokoroa are being organised by the South Waikato District Council and The Event Girl.

The Putāruru parade is being organised by Pride in Putaruru and the Night Market by Putāruru Toy Store.

The Summer Pool event in Tīrau and the Corrugated Structures Lighting are being organised by Council. the Tīrau Community Church is organising the Tree Lighting ft Santa.

Christmas on Roseberry Street in Tokoroa is being organised by SWPICS.

Tokoroa Christmas Parade and Market

Putāruru Christmas Parade

The ongoing road works in Putāruru CBD (Main St) are scheduled to be completed before the Christmas parade. There are no roadworks planned on any of our parade routes on the given days.

There will be portable loos in addition to the toilets at Leith Place, extra bins and a lost-and-found kiosk equipped with a first aid kit.

The Tirau Pools will be open to the public between 1.00 and 6.00 pm. There will be an offer where for every paid child, a parent will be admitted for free.

No dedicated car park space has been allocated, it will be on a first come, first served basis.
