Customer Solutions Team are on the move – Tokoroa

Relocating to the newly refurbished Huihuinga Rau Community Hub & Library on Mannering Street from Monday 14 September, the Customer Solutions team - usually positioned at the ground floor reception at the Tokoroa Council Building – are wrapping up their final week at 1-5 Torphin Street.

Joining the Libraries team at Huihuinga Rau, this transition will make for a more cohesive, better informed and efficiently resourced Customer Experience – creating a ‘one-stop-shop' for our community to:

• Pay rates and fees
• Get information on public consultation activities
• Collect information on local public services and elections
• Report issues and make service requests
• Access library resources and services at the same time

Being the front-line ‘faces’ of Council, means both our Customer Solutions and Libraries teams can work more closely together in this new space to achieve a really positive experience for our community.

We understand this transition may cause some confusion initially – but please be assured that the Council Building remains open to the public (during normal business hours).

Our community are warmly invited to continue attending Council Meetings and public hearings in the Council Chamber – and a sign-in kiosk is available for those who have pre-arranged appointments to meet with staff (for assistance with things such as building consents, resources consents, liquor licensing or food registrations, etc).
