Expressions of Interest: South Waikato People's Panel

We’re seeking Expressions of Interest from residents who would like to be part of a new South Waikato People's Panel – a group designed to help ensure Council decisions and programmes are better informed by the wants and needs of our community.

The South Waikato People's Panel will give participants the opportunity to provide input on planning for new initiatives, to test ideas before they are implemented and offer feedback that helps shape the way Council works.

This may include taking part in short online surveys, attending occasional in-person feedback sessions, and sharing your views on a range of Council projects and initiatives.

To support the integrity and usefulness of the panel, we need all ethnicities, ages (16+), genders, backgrounds, abilities, incomes and education levels to be represented.

We will collect basic information such as your name, date of birth, email address, phone number, place of residence, demographic information such as your gender, ethnicity and your areas of personal interest. All information will be treated in accordance with the Privacy Act.
