​Putāruru water pressure issues

Since yesterday Council has been experiencing issues with the bore pump at the Glenshea station. Initial efforts to fix it haven't worked and today it has been stopped to avoid further damage to the pump.

The Waters team is now pumping water from the Te Waihou station, which will ensure water supply for the whole of Putāruru but will mean pressure is lower than usual.

Work is ongoing but Council expect this issue to continue until at least Sunday night and will communicate any updates. We apologise for any inconvenience.
