Council aware of public concern relating to Putāruru industrial site

South Waikato District Council is aware of complaints from the public relating to a building material recycling centre, operating within a longstanding Commercially Zoned site on Market Street in Putāruru.

While the business is operating within the definition of what activity can take place at a Commercially Zoned site, Council is working with the owner to ensure that certain performance standards, which will reduce impact on neighbouring properties, are met.
