Warm Homes Scheme Selector
The Warm Homes Clean Air Programme is now paused for review.
The Council’s Warm Homes Clean Air programme has been a success in helping members of our communities improve the warmth of their homes and clean up the air, especially in Tokoroa. The Council lends money to homeowners for the improvements, and this is paid back through their rates bills.
The Government has recently made changes to the requirements for organisations that lend money to consumers. The Council’s Warm Homes Clean Air programme will be paused while the Council reviews its processes and how it delivers this important service to its communities.
Note: All applications in process will continue to be processed. Any new applications (from quote stage onwards) will be placed on a waiting list as of 21.09.2022.
Anyone who is interested in applying for the scheme when it starts again, can still apply now and their application will sit on the waiting list.
The Scheme Selector will step you through the questions you'll need to answer to see which of the three Council Schemes you're might be eligible for. At the end of the wizard, you'll be able to apply for the recommended scheme.
Please note, EECA Warmer Kiwi Homes is a separate scheme that offers an 80% subsidy on heating and insulation. Check your eligibility for EECA Warmer Kiwi Homes and apply here.
Before you complete this form, you might want to have a look at the Warmhomes Application Process Diagram which provides step by step information from your initial application through to installation and loan repayments through your rates (depending on which scheme you're eligible for).
We regret to inform you that the 'On the House' scheme is no longer available. However, let us help you find another scheme that will work for you. For more information, please contact our Warm Homes Coordinator on (07) 985 3111.
