Registration of Other Health Premises
Hairdressing salons, camping grounds, motels/hotels, funeral directors and offensive trades are all businesses that are subject to annual registration and inspection under the Health (Registration of Premises) Regulations 1966. All licences are issued according to the financial period starting 1 July of each year and ending on 30 June the following year. Premises are inspected on an annual basis (the fee for this inspection is included at application) unless a complaint is received in which additional inspections will be conducted.
