(Tokoroa only)

This service is for library users who are unable to come to the library due to illness or disability and there are no other persons able to get to the library for them.

Please contact our Library Assistant if you would like more information about this service.

 How does the Books-2-U service work? 

  • Items will be delivered to you every three weeks on a Friday.
  • Library staff select items for you according to your preferences.
  • Please call the librarian in charge of the Books-2-U service with concerns or problems regarding this service.

NOTE:  Normal library membership conditions apply to the loan of items to Books-2-U borrowers.  You will be charged for the cost of damaged or lost items.​

Free Internet & wi-fi

apnk 100x100.jpgPlease note that internet computer sessions are limited to 30 minutes per day.  Printing costs 30 cents per side.  Wi-Fi is available until 8.00 pm.

Scan to email / Print to USB

Scan to email.pngThe public photocopier can be used for scanning documents to an email address and also for printing from a USB stick.  Normal printing charges apply.

Justice of the Peace service

A Justice of the Peace is available at the Tokoroa public library every Wednesday from
2.00 pm - 4.00 pm.

​Born to Read prescription

Ask your health provider or pregnancy support organisation for a "Prescription" for one of the libraries' Born to Read packs (contains a baby tee-shirt and board book).
