Given recent media coverage, readers may be aware that a member of Engineering New Zealand, who is not a chartered professional engineer, has allegedly been completing and signing documents under the name of a chartered professional engineer. The name of the person involved is Jon Hall of Kodiak Consulting Limited. This situation affects more than half of the councils in New Zealand, including South Waikato. There are currently nine properties affected in our district. Readers can access FAQs at the link below. Council is proactively contacting all nine properties owners.
