#Advice from Civil Aviation Authority:
This is a notification that the following information has been added to the CAA website. The following guidance is provided by CAA: Can I fly my drone during Alert Level 4? Guidance here.
*Advice from Sport Waikato: Temporary Suspension on Gaming Funds:
With the country moving to Covid-19 Alert Level 4, all gaming venues have closed for the next few weeks during isolation. As Gaming Societies are not collecting revenue, they are not in a position to distribute funds. As such, gaming societies have suspended all applications for funds. If you have an application that was being processed from the previous funding round, or have received funds for an event that is no longer taking place, you should contact the respective Gaming Society. Please note that if Alert Level 4 is lifted in next few weeks and gaming venues are allowed to open, it will be a further month until funds will become available, as it will take at least a month for sufficient funds to be collected. While the Gaming Societies will have a real appetite to get back to normal and resume funding at good levels, there may be uncertainty in which venues are allowed to resume operations. As such, it is likely that levels of funding will not return to previous levels, at least in the short term. Sport NZ is aware of the significance of this and will be advising the Government as such.
