The Lichfield Reserve has an English pastoral character derived from the large deciduous trees such as oaks, the grassed open space and adjacent pasture. Some of these trees were planted in memory of the soldiers who died in World War One.
On the Reserve’s north-west corner is the Lichfield Pony Club building and storage shed. A carpark is situated on the south-west side of the Reserve and is also used as parking for the school and associated hall use.
