This Friday, 12 June 2026, a South Waikato District Council meeting will consider the following:

Code of Conduct breaches to be considered at extraordinary Council meeting

An independent review of two Code of Conduct complaints against Councillor Zed Latinovic have been upheld and will be considered by the South Waikato District Council at an extraordinary meeting on 12 June.

The independent investigator found that the Councillor breached Council’s Code of Conduct on two separate occasions relating to:

• Events prior to a scheduled Council meeting on 26 February 2026
• Comments made during a deferred Council meeting on 5 March 2026.
