Update on the works at Colson's Hill in Tokoroa

The installation of a retaining wall was required to stabilise part of the area around the carpark and picnic tables at Colson's Hill in Tokoroa - a popular lookout and recreation spot.

The works required Lion Drive to be closed to private vehicles for a few weeks, and Council also asked that pedestrians avoid the area due to the dangerous nature of the work being undertaken.

Works have now been completed and the lookout is fully open to both pedestrians and vehicles.
