​Meet the Candidates Sessions

Community organisations across the district are hosting Meet the Candidate sessions. These are a great opportunity to hear directly from candidates and learn more about their vision for our community. Voting opens on Tuesday 9 September and closes midday on Saturday 11 October.

• Wednesday 4 Sept at 7pm - Samoan Hall, Tokoroa (The South Waikato Residents and Ratepayers Action Group)
• Saturday 6 Sept at 3pm - Tokoroa Club (The South Waikato Residents and Ratepayers Action Group)
• Monday 8 Sept 2025 at 7pm - Plaza Theatre (Pride in Putāruru)
• Thursday 11 Sept 2025 at 1.30pm - Plaza Theatre (Grey Power)
• Thursday 11 Sept 2025 at 6.30pm - Tīrau War Memorial Hall (Tīrau Over 50’s Club) - Mayoral Candidates only.
• Thursday 25 Sept 2025 at 1.30pm - Elim Church (Grey Power)
