Candidate Information Evening

South Waikato District Council will host a Candidate Information Session on Wednesday 9 July at 7pm in the Council Chamber (3 Torphin Crescent).

Items to be covered will include how the Council is structured, the role and responsibilities of elected representatives, the skills required, anticipated time commitments and meeting schedules and an overview of the nomination and election processes.

The event will also be livestreamed for those that cannot attend in person. Candidates watching online can email their questions to governance@southwaikato.govt.nz. These will be answered at the end of the session.
