​PUBLIC NOTICE: Draft Growth Plan – Consultation Open

Council invites the community to submit on its Draft Growth Plan 2024-54. The plan opens for public consultation on Wednesday 22 November and closes at 4pm on Friday 22 December.

Copies of the Draft Growth Plan 2024-54 Consultation Document are available from the Council offices in Tokoroa and Putāruru, Tīrau Information Centre (The Dog) and the Tokoroa Library. The full Draft Growth Plan 2024-54 and online submission form are available on Council’s website: www.southwaikato.govt.nz – Growth Plan submission (button just under the search bar).

Submissions can be:

• Completed online through our website www.southwaikato.govt.nz – Growth Plan submissions
• Emailed to info@southwaikato.govt.nz – please write Draft Growth Plan 2024-54 in the subject bar.
• Mailed to South Waikato District Council, Private Bag 7, Tokoroa 3444 (Freepost Authority 201).
• Delivered to our offices in Tokoroa or Putāruru, the Tokoroa Library or the Tīrau i-SITE.

Formal submissions will be acknowledged by email or letter. Should you wish to be heard, a date and time will be allocated to you, and these will be communicated with you in due course. Public hearings and Council deliberations are scheduled for Tuesday 13 February 2024.
