PUBLIC NOTICE - Significance and Engagement Policy

The two-week consultation period for proposed changes to the Significance and Engagement Policy opens on Wednesday 12 April 2023 and closes on Wednesday 26 April 2023.
All submissions will be heard and considered, and a hearing will be held, if required by any submitter.
Copies of the proposed Significance and Engagement Policy, a summary of changes and submission forms (hard copy and online) are available from the Council offices in Tokoroa and Putāruru, Tīrau i-SITE (the Dog) and Council’s website.
Submissions can be made:
- Online via Council’s website www.southwaikato.govt.nz. Click on the Community Engagement tab under the search bar.
- Email to info@southwaikato.govt.nz. Please write Draft Significance and Engagement Policy – April 2023 in the subject bar.
- In hard copy mailed to Freepost Authority Number 201, Draft Significance and Engagement Policy – April 2023, South Waikato District Council, Private Bag 7, Tokoroa 3444
- By hand delivered to Council offices in Tokoroa and Putāruru or the Tīrau i-SITE.
Please indicate if you wish to be heard, and a date and time will be arranged with you to attend the Hearing. Please remember to include the following in your submission: name, address, phone number and/or email address and whether you wish to be heard (if applicable).
