Fees and Charges - 2018-19

​All fees are annual fees unless shown otherwise.  For periods less than 12 months, fees are reduced on a proportional basis in monthly fractions. ​

Proposed Fees under Food Act 2014 - applies to all new food premises and may apply to some existing food premises who transition from being registered under the Food Hygiene Regulations to the Food Act 2014 - Please check with Council Environmental Health staff is unsure.

Registration
Receiving and processing of applications for registration of food businesses.

Registration of a Food Control Plan

Note:

  1. Section 205(1) of the Act enables the Council, by resolution, to fix fees to recover the direct and indirect costs of any registration, verification, compliance and monitoring functions performed under the Act after consulting using the special consultative procedure of the LGA.
  2. All Council costs shall be calculated per 30 minute period which includes travel time and writing reports.
Food Premises (Food Hygiene Regulations 1974) - these fees apply to some existing premises who have not yet transitioned from being registered under the Food Hygiene Regulations to the Food Act 2014.
