What is a Land Information Memoranda (LIM)?
A LIM is a report prepared by the Council at your request. It provides the information that the Council has on file about a property, including the land and buildings.
When should I obtain a LIM?
If you are considering purchasing a property in the South Waikato District, it is recommended that you obtain a LIM before finalising the purchase.
How do I apply for a LIM?
You will need to obtain an application form from the South Waikato District Council offices. You need to make sure you provide all of the information requested.
How long will the LIM take to be processed?
A LIM will be processed within 10 working days, or within 3 days if you apply for an urgent LIM (incurs a slightly higher cost). For charges refer to fees and charges.
