CommunityConnect is the place to go to find clubs, groups and other organisations in the South Waikato.

If you want to register a new group for others to find, contact the Community Resource Officer, or register with CommunityConnect and add a new group directly through the CommunityConnect website.

Honouring Volunteers 2013

The Honouring Volunteers Ceremony was initiated in 1994 to honour volunteers for their role in the South Waikato District.
Each year, clubs and other organisations are invited to nominate individuals that have given extraordinary service to the community.
Volunteers play an important role in society. In many communities, volunteers provide vital public services, initiate new facilities and help those in need. Every successful voluntary organisation has that special someone in their ranks. They willingly give their own time and expertise to help improve the lives of others.
Nominations will close Friday 24 May 2013 at noon. If you haven’t nominated someone from your organisation yet, now is the time to do so.
Let’s honour these very special people by nominating them and celebrating their passion and commitment.
