Libraries

Council provides a wide range of professional library services to meet the recreational, educational, reading and information needs of the community. A range of other services are also available, including large-print collections, Maori, Pacific Island and other ethnic collections, an audio visual collection, internet, inter-library loan services and a toy library.

Libraries are located in Putaruru, Tirau and Tokoroa (where the District Library is based).

South Waikato Libraries have their own website located at www.swlibrary.org

There are three libraries in the South Waikato District, located in Tokoroa, Putaruru and Tirau. The opening hours do vary, so please have a look at the times below.
