Customer Services
The Customer Service Officers are Council's front line contact for our communities. They deal with payments, take applications for various Council services and handle general enquiries received in person at Council offices and by phone. The Customer Service Officers solve more than 80% of enquiries themselves, referring the remainder to other council staff when required.
Some of the services our friendly team can provide at the front counter:
- Process all council related payments eg dog registrations, rates, building and planning consents
- Create property maps showing locations of tobies, water and sewer connections, stormwater
- Provide information regarding rating valuation, annual property rates. This is available online here.
- Purchase of dog collars, replacement tags, Council rubbish bags
- Issue permits for urban rubbish fires
Our customer services staff are here to provide helpful advice to residents and businesses so if you have any questions regarding Council please come and see us, give us a ring on 07 8850340 or email us here.
