Council provides public toilet facilities in the following locations:
- Arapuni (adjacent to the Hydro Dam)
- Putaruru (Tirau Street, Putaruru Information Centre and Overdale Street)
- Tirau (Tirau Information Centre)
- Tokoroa (Arawa Crescent, Lake Moana-Nui , Dunham's Park, Bonaly Street , Leith Place)
- State Highway 5 (Fitzgerald Glade)
- Caltex Service Station (Main Road, Tirau) and Putaruru Timber Museum (State Highway 1, shared facilities)
These facilities complement those provided by the retail sector and are additional to those provided in rural reserves.
